DSC Racing was established
by Glyn Jones who made his Isle of Man road racing debut as
a passenger for Dennis Proudman in the 1998 Isle of Man TT.
In the same year Glyn finished 2nd in the Manx Grand Prix
Newcomers race on a Triumph 595.
In 1999 Glyn bought Swift Skips off his then sponsor Roger
Owen and as Glyns racing career grew so did his business.
2000 was the year of the Foot and Mouth outbreak and with no
road racing in the Isle of Man, Glyn concentrated on his
business and together with his then sponsor Chris Owen he
purchased Calric Skips. Later that year the opportunity to
purchase Douglas Skips came available and he purchased this
business together with his wife Jill. This is how the DSC
name came about - Douglas Swift Calric (or on a lighter
note: Drink Sex and Comedy!).
Glyn's love of racing and the enjoyment he got from watching
others enjoy the sport took him down the avenue of
supporting others with their racing careers. Some of those
